Uber-sports agent Jerry Maguire (Tom Cruise) is the biggest moneymaker at one of the world's biggest agencies, landing megabucks contracts for some of the biggest names in sports. While at a company conference, he has a revelation about a new way of doing business, and stays up all night pounding out his vision. His philosophy gets him fired, and after a desperate attempt to hang onto his clients, Maguire winds up leaving the agency he helped build with just one: prima donna Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Rod Tidwell (Cuba Gooding, Jr.). One of Maguire's fellow employees, secretary Dorothy Boyd (Renee Zellweger) decides to follow Maguire out on his own, where his newfound ideals will be put to the test.

Adam Sandler plays football field general in this comedic update of the 1974 prison-football classic. Former football star Paul "Wrecking" Crewe (Sandler) finds himself in prison after a drunk-driving incident. The warden (James Cromwell) asks Crewe to assemble a team of inmates to take on the prison guards in a game of football. When it turns out the fix is on, the quarterback-turned-convict enlists the help of fellow inmate and former college champ Nick Scarboro (Burt Reynolds, who played Crewe in the original) to coach the inmates to victory. Chris Rock adds his comic touch to a cast that also features Nelly, Steve Austin, and former NFL pros Michael Irvin and Brian Bosworth.

With his sour face, awful wardrobe, and giant red 'fro, Napoleon leads a depressing home life with his older brother and has-been uncle. At school he tries to find a date for the school dance and helps his friend run for school president. It's hardly the makings of a groundbreaking film, but a nostalgia piece for the '80s mixed with dry, hilarious performances makes Napoleon Dynamite an endearing tale. Fans of Old School, the Breakfast Club and Rushmore should apply immediately.
Not Another Teen Movie spoofs, trumps, and borrows from every teen film made in the '80s and '90s! Director Joel Gallen slaps at films from Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink all the way up through American Pie. There is the required high school cheerleader Priscilla (Jaime Pressly); the good-looking jock, Jake (Chris Evans); the token African-American named Malik (Deon Richmond); a foreign exchange student (Cerina Vincent) who walks around the hallways of John Hughes High School naked; an undercover reporter; and all the other character's you'd expect. There's a bet to transform the ugliest girl (Chyler Leigh) in school into prom queen and plotting students sabotaging each other, all while delivering laughs and compromising encounters in a hilarious romp through the genre of teen movies.
Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) lives a mundane, work-a-day office life and turns to hypnosis to snap himself out. When the hypnotist dies during the session, Peter is stuck in a state of total bliss.
